Why Israel?

God made a covenant with a man named Abram, "I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curse you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed", Genesis 12:2,3. Twenty five years later the Lord appeared to Abram, changed his name to Abraham, and called him to be a Father of many nations, "As for me, behold, My covenant is with you, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have make you a father of many nations', Genesis 17:4,5. Today Judaism, Christianity and Islam all claim Abraham as their father.

Jesus is the fulfillment of God's promise to Abraham and although many do not yet see Him, the Lord will increasingly reveal Himself to all people in the earth. As He does His eternal covenant with Israel, His eternal promise to all nations will come into focus. Jew, Gentile, Arab and all nations will find their salvation in the name of Jesus.

God's covenant with Israel is eternal and as we return to our roots we will discover God's covenant workings now at this time. "That the blessing of Abraham might come upon gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith", Galatians 3:14.

“Tapestry of Praise" songs are a combination of the diverse cultures that are entwined in both Dennis & Liliana. American, Spanish, Italian, South American, Jewish and more. Because they are multi-cultural they have been able to do ministry in both English and Spanish, & at times Hebrew. This has given them the priviledge of being a bridge in the Body of Christ and reaching various peoples of different backgrounds.

Tapestry of Praise’s Music

Dennis & Liliana McDermott have served & led in worship ministry for some 20 years. But it wasn't until the summer of 1996 that they began to walk in a new anointing.

Liliana who is a native of Argentina was invited by Pastor Ed Silvoso of Harvest Evangelism ministry to go for a 2 week short-term mission trip. It was as she received training, ministering and served in evangelism in the Argentinian Revival, that a new fire and anointing entered her heart from the Holy Spirit. At the same time her husband Dennis, back home in California began to experience some changes and he soon had received a new sound, the music for a song that Liliana soon put words to. The song came to be known as "Apple of My Eye" a call to the Body from the Father to "reap the harvest".

The impartation from this trip changed the whole family and their ministry. Original songs began to flow, many directly from the Word of God. As they began to share these songs with people, something began to happen, people began receiving healing for their emotions, some received deliverance and lately some have begun to receive physical healings. Others have felt refreshed or strengthened in their walk with the Lord. It was at this time that the Lord led them to start their ministry which they named "Tapestry of Praise".
